Movement artist, Irene Hsiao, will choreograph a response to the most recent large scale, sculptural work, Waiting, by Amanda Gentry. Waiting was created by the artist as a visual representation of longing for something restorative in the wake of having experienced profound loss. Activating the piece through movement marries the implied motion of the sculpture with the actual motion of the human form.
